Ace of Diamonds

Bond. James Bond.
Love him or hate him, James Bond has had quite the large impact on pop-culture. He's the basis for every secret agent, wiether they be spoofs or homages. There isn't a man in America that hasn't put on a tuxedo and looked at himself in a mirror and said, "Martini. Shaken, not stirred," or something of the like. Bond is a staple in the romantic aspect of modern culture. He's one of the most prominent models for how a man acts (not how he should act, mind you). And I must admit, I have been influenced by him as well.
Bond, Roger Moore especially, has always had a pention for words and I've half picked up his speech. I have a pention for bad puns. If I can find an opportunity for a bad pun, I say it. I laugh. And I'm the only one. But I love it. Another bondism I've picked up on is a love for techy gizmos that have a sleekness about them. True I don't have many, but the ones I desire aren't tacky or funny in anyway. They're all chrome, chrome, CHROME! Ahhh... shiny.
There's more to my fandom of Bond than that, but his style is the most of it. And that's why he's my Ace of Diamonds.
