Entry #17 The Second of December in the Year Sixteen Hundred and Ninety-seven
I trained with the Professor for weeks. Every day that we both could find time after class, and every Saturday morning. I hadnt told any of my friends about it, and that bothered me some. The only other person who knew about my time with Matell was Cobalt, whom I brought along with me to each session. The professor took a liking to my blue rat friend and kept him entertained with food scraps and a comfortable sofa to relax on while we worked.
Turncoat "You'll never win," warned Agent Blue, hands raised above his head in surrender, "should you kill me now, you will be hounded by others from the bureau."
"Bring them on," challenged Quartermain, the assassin whose silenced Beretta was pointed at the doomed agent's forehead, "as soon as I'm finished here, there will be no way to find me. Should they manage to track me down, I'll be well protected by then."
"So it's true!" exclaimed Blue, "You are defecting to C.R.I.M.S.O.N. after all!"
"Not that the knowledge will do you any good when you're dead," said Quartermain, "but the payroll for a man of my talents is much more enticing there."
On Writing JoaPON PROCESS
I don't have a definite process for writing. I just let it come naturally. I'm usually writing for my novel or an essay for a class and in either case, I don't spend too much effort.
I usually have something to drink, iced tea, cola, anything with caffeine. I like to listen to whatever music I like at the time, though whenever I have to write dialog, I make sure to listen to something without lyrics as they can be distracting.
I draw much of my inspiration from current events or history, often videogames and comics as well. My biggest inspiration comes from my family and friends. I've based the majority of my characters off of t
